EPIC FRENCH TECHNO – 9 minutes of throbbing techno from Laurent Garnier. This is one of those tunes that would melt your face in a nightclub and requires a 4 hour warm up before you could get away with playing it. Luckily the Frenchman is well adept at marathon DJ sets and would easily pull it off. Although I can’t see how you could transition into Out Futur from Hall and Oates in under a month.
TECHNO TROUSERS Autumn seems to have only just arrived in the UK. Endless months of low cloud just smears one season into the next and now the long shadows and fresh breezes signal the coming of REALLY shit weather. But that’s okay because nightclubs exist.

There is simply nothing more satisfying that going to an amazing party, rolling out of a club into the pissing,freezing gales then going straight to a pub to watch the raindrops batter the windows from behind several pints of beer.
Knowing that on a miserable, rainy day there is NOTHING better to do than dance all night and get smashed in the pub.
And this winter I will be seeking out more high grade Techno from stalwart Lekebusch who shows how it’s done.

TECH HOUSE BURN UP It would be tech house all the way on this blog if it was remotely entertaining to write about. The music speaks for itself but the producers come across as so anodyne and anonymous there’s very little out which to take the piss. John Selway is dead good. erm….so his music….his favourite colour is….see what I mean. His probably got 4 kills to his name and runs fetish club but I’m fucked if I can find anything to work with. So why not just listen to some nice tech house. Bollocks to music journalism.
